Standing Vice Chairman of the Province’s People’s Committee Nguyen Tuan Ha speaking at the meeting

Speaking at the meeting, Standing Vice Chairman of the Province’s People’s Committee Nguyen Tuan Ha introduced the potentials and strengths of Dak Lak Province as well as the province’s socio-economic achievements in recent years. With the available advantages, Dak Lak Province agreed on the policy for the Group to conduct a survey to deploy investment in biomass power plants in the area. At the same time, it is proposed that by March 2022, the Group will complete relevant procedures to submit to the Government and the Ministry of Industry and Trade. The expected goal is to build 1-2 biomass power plants in the province with the capacity of 100-150MW.

In order to have a basis for the construction of the plants at the request of the Group, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Province’s People’s Committee assigned relevant departments, branches, and localities to actively coordinate, provide information, and facilitate the Group to conduct field surveys in districts such as Ea Kar, Krong Bong, M’Drak, Cu M’gar, etc. about the plant’s construction sites, the ability to provide biomass sources, etc.
