On the afternoon of August 26, at the Kotam Ecotourism Area, the Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Association of Dak Lak and the North Gyeonggi Women Entrepreneurs Association of South Korea organized a conference to sign a cooperation agreement for trade exchange.

The conference was attended by Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Van Canh, leaders of departments and sectors, and more than 150 women-owned businesses from Gyeonggi Province, South Korea, and Dak Lak Province.
At the conference, the two sides exchanged information about their activities, introduced their members, and discussed the potential for expanding the market between Gyeonggi Province, South Korea, and Dak Lak Province, Vietnam.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Anh, Chairwoman of the Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Association of Dak Lak, said that this is an opportunity for both sides to meet and exchange information about cooperation needs, market expansion, and to open up many opportunities for linking and exchanging products among member businesses in the future. It is hoped that through this visit, Korean women entrepreneurs will have a better understanding of the socio-economic development of the province, and will be able to implement practical and effective cooperation programs, thereby contributing to enhancing economic and social cooperation between Vietnam and South Korea.

Ms. Sin Young Yee, Chairwoman of the North Gyeonggi Women Entrepreneurs Association of South Korea, stated that the signing of the Memorandum of Cooperation between the Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Association of Dak Lak and the North Gyeonggi Women Entrepreneurs Association of South Korea marks an important step forward, opening up new cooperation opportunities for the two localities. This is the beginning of female entrepreneurs working together for trade cooperation, economic development, and making greater contributions to the country.

The signing of the Memorandum of Cooperation between the Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Association of Dak Lak and the North Gyeonggi Women Entrepreneurs Association of South Korea marks an important step forward, opening up new opportunities for female entrepreneurs to learn from each other, share experiences, and implement various trade cooperation activities in the future, contributing to promoting the economic and social development of the two provinces.
At the same time, this event also marks a new milestone in the cooperative relationship between Dak Lak and Gyeonggi, promoting the development of female entrepreneurs and enhancing the position of female entrepreneurs in the economy of Vietnam and South Korea.

On this occasion, the Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Association of Dak Lak signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with the North Gyeonggi Women Entrepreneurs Association of South Korea. Members of both associations also signed 23 pairs of Memoranda of Cooperation in various fields such as tourism, services, textile industry, agricultural products, cosmetics, and social welfare…
Accordingly, the Memorandum of Cooperation has a term of 5 years (2024-2029). The two sides will coordinate to implement market development projects, including the participation of member companies from both organizations; implement projects to expand business operations to South Korea and Vietnam; and create favorable conditions and make the best arrangements for receiving delegations from both sides to visit and work in South Korea and Vietnam.
