The Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Dinh Trung attended the National Border Guard Day. (27/02/2025, 14:15)

On February 25, the People's Committee and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Krong Na Commune (Buon Don District) coordinated with the Sere Pok Border Guard Station (Border Guard of Dak Lak Province) to organize the "National Border Guard Day" for 2025 and to summarize the 10-year implementation of Directive 01/CT-TTg, dated January 9, 2015, from the Prime Minister regarding the organization of a nationwide movement to participate in safeguarding national territorial sovereignty and border security in the new situation. 

Delegates visited the photo exhibition "Proud of Our Border Line" at the National Border Guard.

Participants in the event included Nguyen Dinh Trung, Member of the Central Party Committee, Secretary of the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee; To Thi Bich Chau, Deputy Chairwoman of the Central Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; Colonel Vu Quoc An, Deputy Political Commissar of the Vietnam Border Guard Force; Vo Van Canh, Deputy Chairperson of the Provincial People's Council; representatives from various departments, sectors, localities, along with a large number of local residents. 

Krong Na Commune has a 45.542 km border with Mondulkiri Province (Kingdom of Cambodia), and a population of 1,730 households with 6,377 individuals, of which ethnic minorities account for 76.8%. 

Over the past 10 years of implementing Directive 01/CT-TTg, under the leadership of the commune's Party Committee, the People's Committee has directed the local militia, police, and border guard forces to regularly coordinate with working teams stationed in the area for patrolling, ensuring security and order in hamlets and communities, and effectively securing major holidays and significant national events, thereby maintaining border security. Notably, during holidays and Tet celebrations, they have prevented hostile individuals from infiltrating and causing disturbances, continuously managed the area effectively, conducted temporary accommodation registration inspections, and coordinated to handle violations by individuals and vehicles against border regulations, thus preserving political security and social order in the area. 

Comrade Nguyen Dinh Trung and Comrade To Thi Bich Chau presented gifts to the families of policy beneficiaries, poor households, and reputable individuals in the area.

During the event, various levels, sectors, and units awarded nearly 300 gifts to policy beneficiary families, poor households, reputable individuals, exemplary families, individuals actively participating in safeguarding territorial sovereignty and national border security; to poor students overcoming difficulties under the program "Helping Children to School," and “Children of the Border Guard Station”; organized the photo exhibition "Proud of Our Border Line"; conducted free health check-ups, counseling and distribution of medicines to local residents, along with cultural and recreational activities. 

Comrade Vo Van Canh, Deputy Chairperson of the Dak Lak Provincial People's Council, awarded Certificates of Merit to organizations and individuals with outstanding achievements in implementing Directive 01/CT-TTg.

On this occasion, the Chairman of the Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to one organization and two individuals; the Border Guard of Dak Lak Province awarded commendations to one organization and two individuals; and the Chairman of the Buon Don District People's Committee awarded commendations to three organizations and five individuals who have achieved outstanding results in implementing Directive 01/CT-TTg for the period 2015-2025.
