To implement tasks of Sep, 2016 (06/09/2016, 23:26)
On September 1st, the Dak Lak Provincial People’s Committee (PPC) held a Conference chaired by Chairman of the PPC Pham Ngoc Nghi on reviewing the performance of socio-economic development task, safeguarding national defense and security in the province and setting up tasks of September, 2016.
 
In August, the economic situation of Dak Lak province has made positive changes. Agricultural production has remained stable, diseases on plants and animals have been strictly controlled. Total state budget revenue achieved over VND2,366 billion, equivalent to 64.45 percent of the plan assigned by the Central, 56.34 percent of the plan assigned by the Provincial People’s Council. Total budget spending was estimated at VND7 trillion, reaching 66.86 percent and 62.23 percent of the plan assigned by the Central and the Provincial People’s Council, respectively. Industrial production results and value saw an increase. Total retailing sales of goods and services in the market increased against the previous month and the same period in 2015. Price in the market has been well controlled and fluctuation of price has not happened. Export turnover hit USD45 million, the cumulative total for the past eight months got an estimate of USD 360 million, increasing by 6.9 percent against the same period, equal to 52.9 percent of the annual plan. Import turnover was estimated at USD0.6 million, the cumulative total for the past eight months reached USD 7.6 million, up 69 percent over the same period, equal to 76 percent of the annual plan. Social security and preferential treatment for people devoting to the revolution were promptly implemented. Social order and safety remained stable; traffic accidents had a decrease against the previous month. 
 
However, climate change has caused of many storms, heavy rain which have affected to production and people’s lives. Petechial fever has not been curbed. Budget revenue has not achieved as planned. Administrative reform has not shown strong changes. Progress of projects has been implemented slowly.

Speaking at the Conference, Chairman Pham Ngoc Nghi required departments, sectors and localities to focus on implementing a number of key tasks such as strengthening reform and innovation of directing and administration methods, mobilization and promotion of all resources to strive for achieving and exceeding targets of the year 2016; proposing the PPC to deploy resolutions approved at the 2nd session, the 10th Provincial People’s Council. Additionally, he also expressed his hope to boost measures of budget revenue, and to ensure proper and full collection; to prevent fraud, tax avoidance and tax losses; to manage budget spending tightly and economically. For education, he wished that opening ceremony for the 2016-2017 academic year would be successfully organized, teaching and learning routines would be stabilized from the beginning of the new school year.
