On August 17th, the Dak Lak Department of Industry and Trade coordinated with the Vietnam E-commerce Association (VECOM) to organize a training conference on the application of knowledge of e-commerce and digital transformation in business for enterprises in Dak Lak Province.

At the conference, VECOM shared with enterprises some contents such as: Building and operating sales channels via Website and Facebook; Growing orders and potential customers with easy Google Ads; and Proposing a support program on e-commerce activities/online branding to the manufacturing business community in Dak Lak Province.
According to VECOM, under the impact of the COVID-19 epidemic, e-commerce business has been severely impacted, but many merchants have made efforts to digitally transform in order to seize new opportunities when online consumers have increased dramatically in both quantity and quality.

In that context, VECOM has developed the Vietnam E-commerce Index Report 2022 based on a survey of nearly 7,000 enterprises in the country since the end of 2021.

Currently, merchants, especially e-commerce enterprises, are actively implementing digital transformation activities to adapt to the epidemic and prepare for their business operations in the new normal after the epidemic.
E-commerce platforms have become effective sales channels for enterprises, especially small and medium-sized enterprises, micro enterprises or business households and individuals. It can be seen that the second wave will promote the development of e-commerce in the 2021 – 2025 period.

Many enterprises participate in the training conference
Mr. Vo Van Khanh, Head of E-Commerce Association in Central Vietnam - the Central Highlands region, said that the training conference aims to support enterprises in Dak Lak Province to effectively implement e-commerce on digital platforms, e-commerce platforms, e-commerce websites, multi-channel selling solutions and other online business forms. Training courses focus on small and medium-sized enterprises and business households, and focus on prioritizing online training and conducting surveys on business needs to build cooperation programs in the near future.
“On the basis of the cooperation agreement for the 2022-2025 period, the E-commerce Association will focus on training in practical contents so that enterprises can sell goods and services on social networks and e-commerce platforms, then build e-commerce websites and advanced omni-channel sales solutions, and effectively apply digital marketing solutions and other digital technologies”, said Mr. Vo Van Khanh.
