Training on Professional Skills for Red Cross Work and Movement in 2024 (04/07/2024, 10:39)

On June 27 and 28, the Red Cross Society of Dak Lak Province organized a training course on professional skills for Red Cross work and movement in 2024.

The training course was attended by 62 participants, including officials and leaders of the Red Cross Societies from districts, towns, and cities, as well as Red Cross volunteers from various communes in the area.

During the training course, participants were provided with content and knowledge about the work of the Society in recent times. They listened to the topic "Vietnam Red Cross Volunteers," received an overview of social work skills, and gained knowledge and skills in basic first aid, such as handling cardiac arrest victims, managing bleeding wounds, and immobilizing fractures.

The participants also engaged in direct discussions with the presenters, sharing experiences and highlighting difficulties and obstacles encountered during their duties at the grassroots level.

The training course aimed to enhance the knowledge and skills of Red Cross officials in carrying out their work and the Red Cross movement to meet new requirements. Additionally, it sought to raise awareness about the risks of injuries and traffic accidents, and the importance of first aid in emergencies, thus applying these skills effectively in their actual work.
