Delegates attending the conference.

At the conference, delegates were briefed by speakers from the Internal Political Security Department (Provincial Police) on various specialized topics, including the role of party committees in leading and directing state secret protection work and the specifics of state secret protection. Accordingly, the delegates were briefed on the State Secret Protection Law of 2018 and the Prime Minister's decisions regarding the issuance of state secret lists in various fields such as inspection, complaint resolution, external relations and international integration, labor, and social affairs. Additionally, the delegates spent considerable time discussing and addressing issues related to state secret protection.

In his speech at the conference, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Provincial Agencies and Enterprises, Nguyen Dinh Hoang, urged agencies, units, and enterprises to intensify their efforts in promoting and raising awareness about state secret protection, particularly among cadres, party members, and civil servants. He emphasized the need to seriously and effectively implement the relevant circulars, decrees, and regulations of the Party and state concerning state secret protection. Regular inspections and monitoring should be conducted to detect and rectify violations promptly, and measures should be implemented to minimize the risk of state secret leaks.

Furthermore, it is necessary to enhance the management, control, and strict censorship of information editing and dissemination for units with electronic information portals. Preventive measures should be taken to avert state secret leaks in cyberspace. Agencies should proactively and positively coordinate with the police forces in investigating, tracing, and rectifying consequences, and strictly handling organizations and individuals violating state secret protection laws.
