According to the Department of Science and Technology, Vietnam's process of international economic integration is becoming increasingly robust. In this process, the production and business activities of local specialties have achieved significant results, contributing to raising the income of people in areas with specialties.
The trade agreements signed include provisions for limiting state subsidies and protective measures related to agriculture and industry. Therefore, one of the priority directions to enhance the competitiveness of Vietnam's agricultural, forestry, and fishery products is to build, register, protect, and exploit intellectual property rights for these products.
The protection of Ea Sup Rice products is just the initial stage in establishing the product name within the Ea Sup Rice brand. Therefore, further steps are needed to promote the development of the Ea Sup Rice brand.
Through the training workshop, trainees gained knowledge on exploiting and developing intellectual property assets to support the effective management, exploitation, and development of the protected Ea Sup Rice certification mark, owned by the Ea Sup District Department of Agriculture and Rural Development.
