World Coffee Museum welcomed nearly 4 million visitors from more than 22 countries (11/12/2022, 13:47)

After 4 years of operation, the World Coffee Museum has organized more than 300 community cultural events, welcomed nearly 4 million visitors from more than 22 countries, contributing to the growth of Dak Lak tourism by more than 473% up to 2022. This place has become the cultural and community center of Dak Lak in particular and the capital of the Central Highlands in general.

With the uniqueness and contributions to the Vietnamese coffee industry in particular and the global coffee industry in general, the World Coffee Museum has been praised by many prestigious international agencies, such as: “The largest, most vibrant and unique living museum!” (AP, a leading US news agency); "one of the 17 best destinations to visit in Vietnam" (Wanderlust, a UK's leading travel magazine); “Where visitors can fully immerse themselves in the coffee culture” (National Geographic).

In particular, with a huge collection of world coffee and special coffee exhibitions every 3 months, the World Coffee Museum is also the first art coffee center in the world which specializes in introducing unique coffee art products such as: art show of three coffee civilizations with 3Dmapping technology; art show on awaken living; The play "The Tale of the Three Coffee Civilizations".

Not only enhancing the value of Robusta coffee beans in Buon Ma Thuot with different delicious coffee products, Trung Nguyen Legend also pioneered the implemention of comprehensive strategies to affirm Vietnam as not only a coffee exporting powerhouse but also a center for initiating coffee ideology, philosophy and culture. In particular, Buon Ma Thuot - the hometown of Robusta coffee beans will be developed into the "Coffee City of the World", and a model for sustainable development.

The Coffee City project is planned with a vision to become a central urban area of the Central Highlands with a scale of 45.45 hectares located right in the center of Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Capital, construction started since January 2017. Unlike other urban projects, Coffee City focuses on creating symbolic works to make Buon Ma Thuot an attractive area for investment and tourists; and improve the lives of the community, worthy of the billion-dollar agricultural capital of Vietnam, the destination of the world's coffee.

With that positioning, the Coffee City converges Different - Special - Unique living spaces according to the Green - Identity - Prosperity lifestyle, focusing on the quality of life, the harmony between people and nature. Based on the philosophy of healing architecture that can help change the way of life, which is very popular in the most developed countries such as Japan, the US, and France. All housing and utility designs at the Coffee City focuses on quality and harmony between people and nature, giving residents the wealth of Body, Mind,  and Wisdom within the concept of architecture, materials, infrastructure, and the general environment.

In 2021, the Coffee City was officially introduced to the community and put into operation special utilites, such as: the Zen Garden, sports complex for Gym – Yoga – Archery, Arabian equestrian practice area – 3D Golf, etc.

At the beginning of 2022, the Coffee City welcomed the first residents and continued to add living facilities such as: the world's largest Trung Nguyen Legend World Coffee Space, Culinary - Culture Center (November, 2022), etc.

One of the distinctive works of the Coffee City project is the World Coffee Museum, a symbolic work for Vietnam's coffee industry and its contribution to the world coffee industry, which was opened on November 23, 2018. Shaped as the largest, most unique, and most distinctive living museum of coffee culture, the World Coffee Museum holds more than 11,000 artifacts related to three typical coffee civilizations of the world dating back to almost 3 centuries. At the same time, the World Coffee Museum also has a combination of exhibition spaces, coffee viewing spaces, light library spaces, etc., which are interconnected via "Live - Open - Interactive" values.
