After three days of working in a serious and urgent manner, the 10th Provincial Trade Union Congress, 2018-2023 tenure of the Labor Federation of Dak Lak province wrapped up on April 13th. The closing ceremony was attended by Vice Chairman Vo Van Canh.
 

 
Delegates votes the Executive Board for the tenure of 2018-2023

After hearing reports on opinions related to the document of the 10th Trade Union Congress of Dak Lak, the documents of the 12th Congress of the Vietnam Trade Union and the suggestions on the amendments and supplementation of the Charter of the Vietnam Trade Union; report on recommendations and proposals of union members, workers and employees to the Viet Nam General Confederation of Labour, the election result of the Executive Committee of the 10thProvincial Trade Union, the 2018-2023 tenure was announced at the Congress with the number of 38 members. At the same time, the Congress elected 08 delegates to attend the 12thCongress of Vietnam Trade Union.

The delegates made a 100% agreement to pass such basic targets at the Congress as: building 300 new houses and repairing 300 houses from the trade union fund at all levels; building 100 new houses from other sources; reducing more than 30% of units which have not been awarded the title of strong units at all-level trade union; establishing the women's committees of all the grassroots - level trade unions as prescribed; striving to collect annual trade union budgets to reach and exceed the estimates assigned by the General Confederation of Labour; ensuring 100% of employees who are signed labour contracts with their employers; providing assistance to 40% of outstanding union members aiming to create human resources for the development of the Party at agencies, units, enterprises.

Speaking at the congress, Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Vo Van Canh informed the province’s socio-economic performance over the past time. At the same time, he expressed his wish that the trade union organization at all levels will continue to promote its tradition, renew contents and mode of operation, coordinate closely with the authorities at all levels in many fields: building up and implementing policies for civil servants, public employees and workers; organizing many patriotic emulation movements, good and creative workers; well performing the grassroots democracy regulations at agencies, units and enterprises; caring and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of workers. He expressed his belief that the provincial Trade Union would continue to gain more achievements as well as always be the leading force in the cause of industrialization and modernization, contributing to the successful implementation of the socio-economic plan, maintaining national defense and security of the province.
