Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society Vu Thanh Luu visits and presents gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers. (09/05/2025, 07:59)

On May 6, as part of a working program in Dak Lak province, Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society Vu Thanh Luu and his delegation visited and presented gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mother Nguyen Thi Nua (residing in Tan Loi Ward, Buon Ma Thuot City) and Vietnamese Heroic Mother Bui Thi Day (residing in Ea Tam Ward, Buon Ma Thuot City).

Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society Vu Thanh Luu and the working delegation visited Vietnamese Heroi Mother Nguyen Thi Nua.

At the visits, Comrade Vu Thanh Luu warmly inquired about the health and living conditions of the policy families and expressed deep gratitude for the significant sacrifices and contributions of these families in the struggle for national liberation and the defense of the Fatherland.

Vice Chairman of the Central Vietnam Red Cross Society Vu Thanh Luu, along with his working delegation, visited Mother Bui Thi Day.

Comrade Vu Thanh Luu extended his best wishes to Mother Nguyen Thi Nua and Mother Bui Thi Day and their families for good health, encouraging them to continue promoting the glorious revolutionary tradition, to actively participate in the socio-economic development, and to ensure national defense and security in the locality. He emphasized the importance of educating and nurturing the spirit of nationalism and love for the country among their children, grandchildren, and younger generations, contributing to the construction of a prosperous and civilized Dak Lak homeland.

Additionally, Comrade Vu Thanh Luu urged all levels, sectors, mass organizations, and local authorities to continue effectively implementing the "Gratitude and Repayment" movement and the policies for policy families and those with meritorious service. He highlighted the need to focus on the healthcare of those with meritorious service, regularly encouraging, visiting, and assisting these families in their daily lives.
