On November 10, the Union of Science and Technology Associations of Dak Lak Province in collaboration with the Provincial Youth Union, the Department of Education and Training, the Department of Science and Technology, and the Department of Finance held a ceremony to present awards of the 10th Dak Lak province's Creative Competition for Youth and Children in 2022.

Attending the closing ceremony and awarding awards were Mr. Y Bier Nie, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; leaders of Departments, branches and teachers and students of local schools.

10th Creative Competition for Youth and Children of Dak Lak province in 2022 took place from January to December 2022. Contestants are teenagers and children from 6 to 18 years old in the province, participating in 05 creative areas, including: School supplies; Software; Environment-friendly products; Household tools and children's toys; Technical solutions to respond to climate change, environmental protection and economic development.

In 2022, the Organizing Committee received 153 topics of 324 authors from 15 districts, towns and city in the province. The Organizing Committee has selected 36 excellent topics, with creative ideas and high ability to apply in practice in accordance with the ability and creative thinking of the children's ages to be awarded, including: 01 first prize, 05 second prizes, 10 third prizes, 20 consolation prizes.

 
Awarding Certificates of Merit to groups and individuals with outstanding achievements in organization of the Contest

Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Vuong Huu Nhi - Chairman of the Union of Science and Technology Associations evaluated that the Creative Contest for teenagers and children in Dak Lak province was assigned by the Provincial People's Committee to the Union of Science and Technology Associations. This year marks the 10-year journey of the Contest with many memorable milestones in the journey of encouraging and honoring the creativity of young people in the whole province.

 
The Organizing Committee awarded 01 first prize for the project "Monitoring student behavior, preventing distractions from smartphones to improve learning efficiency in class" by Chu Van An High School, Buon Ma Thuot city.

Through 10 seasons, the Contest has attracted a large number of young people and children in the province who have demonstrated unlimited creativity to bring about a lot of products which can be applied in practice, contributing to socio-economic development, industrialization and modernization of the homeland and the country.
In 2022, the awarded models and products are all creative, demonstrating the scientific research capacity of a large number of students. Especially this year, there are many ideas that have applied information technology and biotechnology to meet the needs of learning and solving problems arising in life.

 
The Organizing Committee launches the 11th Dak Lak province's youth and children's creative contest in 2023.

On this occasion, the Organizing Committee awarded certificates of merit to 8 units and 10 individuals with outstanding achievements in organization of Contest and supporting students and children to participate and win high prizes in the Contest at the provincial level as well as at the national level.
