Dak Lak assists 6570 people to find jobs in the first quarter of 2023. (05/04/2023, 09:00)

In the first quarter of 2023, Dak Lak province has consulted, provided job and career advice, and labor export assistance for 9,761 people. In which, job counseling was given to 6,570 people, job introduction to 1,202 people; people who got jobs after counseling was 1,070 people; labor export was matched for 220 people.

According to the Provincial Employment Service Center - Department of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs, employment service activities have been well implemented, with 15 mobile job sessions, 02 job fairs and 11 job counseling and introduction sessions for unemployment insurance-covered workers.

In addition, the Center also coordinated with several districts to organize 08 mobile job trading sessions, 01 job fair and 18 job counseling and introduction sessions around the province. Information was collected on recruitment needs of 715 units and enterprises. 422 units, enterprises and households apply for recruitment at the Center with a total recruitment demand of 8,419 people.

The Center has also dissiminated labor export information, matching workers with agencies providing services for short-term foreign employment under labor contracts.

9,761 people have been provided employment, career, labor export counseling, of which, job counseling was 6,570 times, directly and indirectly via Zalo and Facebook official page. There were 59 units and enterprises participating in the Job session with the recruitment demand and enrollment of 12,327 people.

It is expected that in the second quarter of 2023, the Center will provide employment and career counseling for about 7,820 people; introduce jobs for 2,280 people (estimated number of people having jobs after introducing is 940 people); and conduct job sessions according to the plan.

The Center will collect information at 640 units and enterprises; work with 660 units and enterprises registered for recruitment; providing labor market information to about 3,920 units, enterprises and employees; continue to coordinate with the Center for Overseas Labor to implement the EPS program for local workers; vocational training support for unemployed workers.
