On the afternoon of January 12th, the Provincial Standing Party Committee worked with Tan Hoang Minh Group and Tan A Dai Thanh Group to hear about reports on investment projects in the province. Member of CPV Central Committee, Secretary of Provincial Party Committee Bui Van Cuong chaired the event. Members of Provincial Standing Party Committee and representatives for Departments, localities and other investors also attended the meeting.

Tan Hoang Minh Group reported on the detailed planning of the complex of five-star hotels, commercial centers and houses at the land lot of former Dak Lak General Hospital. Particularly, the project has an area of 42,645 square meters and total investment amount of 4,500 – 5,000 billion VND, including luxury apartments, commercial centers, five-star hotels, 5 or 7-storey townhouses, pedestrian street, square, ecological landscape space and other infrastructure.

On the other hand, Tan A Dai Thanh Group is planning to invest in building Meyhomes urban area in Ea Dar commune with an area of 150 hectares, an estimated population of over three thousand people, and total investment of over three thousand billion VND. Tan A Dai Thanh is also planning to invest in two residential areas in Lien Son town, Lak district with an area of over 20 hectares, total investment of over 1,200 billion VND, including service complex, townhouses, villas, parks, etc.

Address the meeting, Member of CPV Central Committee, Secretary of Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee Bui Van Cuong said in the future, Dak Lal will become the center of the Central Highlands region. Expectedly, the number of tourists and visitors to Dak Lak will increase when the highway connecting the province and Nha Trang (Khanh Hoa) is built in the near future. Dak Lak thanks Tan Hoang Minh Group for its intention to invest in the province for mutual cooperation and socio-economic development.

Secretary of Provincial Party Committee Bui Van Cuong emphasized that the Provincial Party Committee is implementing the Politburo’s Conclusion 67 on building Buon Ma Thuot city into a key urban center of the region, therefore Dak Lak always welcomes investors and creates highlights to attract tourism and service development. This is a big project in 2021, thus the Provincial Party Secretary suggested that the Party Committee of Provincial People’s Committee should direct management procedures quickly and legally in order to create favorable conditions for enterprises, said he.

Provincial Secretary Bui Van Cuong suggested that investors should focus on architectural research, design and development to be consistent with the special characteristics of the Central Highlands in general and Dak Lak in particular,  the home of many ethnic minority groups. He asked the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to provide more information to create a highlight for the province. Besides, other agencies were requested to define those as provincial key projects in 2020, and support those Groups in legal procedures in accordance with laws and regulations. Dak Lak province will accompany enterprises and investors and support them overcome any arising problems, according to the Provincial Secretary.

According to Secretary of Provincial Party Committee Bui van Cuong, Tan A Dai Thanh Group also proposed projects which will contribute to the development of urban areas in Ea Kar district as well as tourism development of Lak district. Therefore, he asked the Provincial Standing Party Committee to support and approve the policy for the Group’s plan. Provincial Secretary Bui Van Cuong also suggested creating favorable conditions for the investor in the selection of official investors and adjusting planning in accordance with laws and regulations.
