The Southern Airport at Buoon Ma Thuot announced that some commercial flights at the airport could be resumed from April 24, 2020 after temporarily halting operation in an attempt to contain Covid-19 pandemic.

Accordingly, some airlines has resumed their flights from and to Buon Ma Thuot city from April 24. Particularly, Vietnam Airlines has resumed its one-way flights from Ha Noi to Buon Ma Thuot and from Buon Ma Thuot to Ho Chi Minh city on April 24 while the round-trip flights between Ha Noi and Buon Ma Thuot and between Ho Chi Minh city and Buon Ma Thuot will be back to opened from April 30. VietJet Air also announced it was resuming the round-trip flights from Buon Ma Thuot to Ha Noi, Vinh and Ho Chi Minh city from April 26.
Reportedly, there are four airlines operating domestic routes at Buon Ma Thuot Airport. Apart from the two above-mentioned airlines, Jetstar Pacific and Bamboo Airways have not announced to resume their flights at Buon Ma Thuot yet.
