On April 13, the delegation of the Provincial People's Committee headed by Ms. H'Yim Kdoh, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee, Standing Deputy Head of the Provincial Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control visited and checked the epidemic containment of border checkpoints along the boundary. Accompanying the delegation were the leaders of the Department of Health, the Provincial Border Guard Command, Buon Ma Thuot University, Victory Primary, Secondary and High School.

Checking the epidemic control of border checkpoints of Dak Rue, Ia R've, Ea H'leo, Yok M'Bre and Yok Don, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee H'Yim Kdoh highly appreciated the effort of officers and soldiers who have overcome all difficulties, hardships to resiliently stick to the boundary, firmly protect the national sovereignty and border security as well as strictly control the situation in the boundary to prevent unauthorized entry and overtaking that may lead to the risk of disease spread. She also noted that the leadership of the Border Guard Command should ensure all regimes and minimum living needs, serving all aspects of the officers and soldiers at epidemic control checkpoints.

Representatives of the epidemic control checkpoints at border stations thanked the provincial leaders for their attention to officers and soldiers on duty and said that they always commit themselves to take their sacred responsibility entrusted by the Fatherland as well as the trust of the Party Committee and people of Dak Lak; emphasized that the soldiers always enhance their determination to complete all assigned tasks and join hands with the people across the country in response to the epidemic.

At the border checkpoint of Yok M’Bre border guard station, provincial leaders demand better equipment and facilities for soldiers.
By grasping the situation, Vice Chairwoman H'Yim Kdoh asked the Provincial Border Guard Command to proactively propose necessary equipment serving the daily lives as well as performing tasks for border guards. The border guards need conditions to rest and ensure their health at the border checkpoints, said she. In the face of complicated situation of the epidemic, the Vice Chairwoman also urged organizations and individuals to actively participate with the province to support resources for health workers and functional forces at the frontline of the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic.

On this occasion, the Provincial People's Committee, the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, the Department of Health, Buon Ma Thuot University, Victoria Primary, Secondary and High School offered many gifts, including necessary supplies, medical equipment, and antiseptic water to the epidemic control checkpoints.

Propagating the people at the interdisciplinary checkpoint of Ea H’Leo border gate
Previously, to enhance Covid-19 prevention and control the People's Committee of Dak Lak province has established 8 epidemic control checkpoints at gateways of the province and 6 border control checkpoints on 73 kilometers of the boundary adjacent to the Kingdom of Cambodia.
At those 8 checkpoints, the 24/24h on-duty force has 12 comrades including police officers, medical officers, military farces and local officials. The checkpoints started operating from the afternoon of March 31st until the new direction of the People's Committee of Dak Lak province.

Particularly, the 6 border checkpoints will operate actively to ensure border patrol and prohibit illegal border entry. From 0:00 of April 01st, passenger cars have not been allowed to go in and out of the province; public vehicles have been limited the operation. Up to now, Dak Lak has not recorded any cases of Covid-19 infection yet.
