On April 25th, the People's Committee of M’Drak District organized the District M’Drak Firefighting and Rescue Skills Competition "Safe Firefighting Team" for the year 2024.

The competition saw the participation of 6 teams with over 60 athletes representing firefighting teams from various communes and towns. The teams underwent two parts: Theoretical (teams drew lots and answered questions about firefighting, rescue, and emergency knowledge) and Practical (team members cooperated to carry out firefighting organization tasks, rescue skills, property evacuation, and emergency evacuation skills during a fire).

According to the assessment of the organizing committee, the participating teams demonstrated excellent performance in meeting the requirements, ensuring absolute safety for personnel and vehicles, and showing their ability to respond and effectively use tools and equipment to handle fire, explosion, rescue, and emergency situations during a fire.

At the end of the competition, the organizing committee awarded the First Prize to the team from M’Drắk town; the Second Prize went to the team from Krông Jing commune; and the Third Prize was awarded to the team from Ea Pil commune.

Mr. Nguyen Duc Thao – Vice Chairman of the District People's Committee and Head of the Competition Organization Committee presented the awards to the participating teams.

The competition provided an opportunity for members of the Safe Firefighting Teams to enhance their knowledge and skills in handling fire and explosion situations, strengthen exchanges, learning, and experience sharing among the teams in the district to better serve firefighting and rescue operations, and promote the effectiveness of the "four on-site" principle in handling fire and explosion situations in residential areas, contributing to stabilizing the security situation in the district.
