On February 14th, the province’s supervision delegation on the implementation of IT application and E-Administration building in 2019 had a meeting to supervise the IT application and E-Administration at the Department of Planning and Investment (DPI) in 2019.

Overview of the meeting

Through the supervision, the delegation assessed that the DPI has paid attention to and directed IT application and E-Administration implementation timely and effectively; well implemented IT management requirements and information security requirements at the prescribed level. Up to present, the DPI has implemented and used of document management system (iDesk), 100 percent of the DPI’s documents has been put online. The DPI has also used e-signature for e-document transactions in management activities and provided 128 administrative procedures under its jurisdiction.

In 2019, the DPI received and handled 7,872 administrative procedures, thereby processing 7,827 applications (7,777 procedures were solved on time, 50 procedures were delayed), 45 administrative procedures have not been resolved yet. Particularly, the proportion of DPI’s receiving administrative procedures and sending the results of settlement through public postal services reached 22.26%. The results in the IT application and E-Administration of the DPI in 2019 have contributed to effectively meeting the requirements of the tasks.

Supervising the IT application

However, in addition to the achieved results, the situation of IT application and E-Administration building of the DPI still faces some difficulties and limitations such as: IT infrastructure has not been synchronized, thus affecting the implementation of the assigned tasks; the DPI has not had full-time IT staff; administrative procedures have not been received and handled through the online public administration service integrated with inter-agency one-stop-shop of Dak Lak province (iGate) ...

At the meeting, the delegation noted the situation, recommendations and proposals of the DPI to summarize, evaluate and report to the provincial People's Committee for consideration and settlement in the coming time.
