On November 14, Tay Nguyen Polytechnic College held the Opening Ceremony of the school year 2022-2023 and celebrated the 40th anniversary of Vietnam Teachers' Day (20/11/1982 – 20/11/2022), with the participation of Ms. H'Yim Kdoh, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

Tay Nguyen Polytechnic College was established in 2010. Over 12 years of establishment and development, the College has trained high-quality labor - contributing to the socio-economic development of the Central Highlands provinces and the whole country.

In the school year 2021-2022, despite the impact of the COVID-19, the College Management Board has tried to complete the set tasks, developing college, intermediate and elementary level training. In particular, the College division operates training in 6 majors including: Nursing; Medicine; Information Technology; English Language; Office Administration; Veterinary Breeding; Automotive Technology with 526 students; Intermediate Training division with 5 majors including: Doctor; Tourism business management; Information Technology; Veterinary breeding; Automotive technology with about 700 students. The Primary Training division has over 4000 students and the driving test with over 6000 students. In the academic year 2022-2023, Tay Nguyen Polytechnic College enrolled 600 students, bringing the total number of students to 2000 students.

The college facilities are constantly invested, with spacious and clean construction. Currently, the College has 28 theoretical classrooms, 16 practical classrooms, including 02 computer labs, 08 medical practice rooms, 04 veterinary breeding laboratories, 01 Automotive Technology Workshop and Travel Guide, 60 sets of computers for online teaching and learning with internal fiber optic transmission. The school library currently has more than 1000 titles including College textbooks, vocational books, law books, reference books, etc.

Speaking at the ceremony, Ms. H'Yim Kdoh, Vice Chair of the Provincial People's Committee highly appreciated the efforts of officials, teachers, workers, and students of Tay Nguyen Polytechnic College in teaching and learning. In the current context, the College needs to develop a flexible teaching plan, set clear the program goals, catch up with the digital era, successfully complete the tasks of the school year 2022-2023. In particular, training skilled human resources for the development of the province; opening appropriate training courses on the basis of actual needs of the society; strengthening career orientation for students to improve awareness and learning attitude; promoting cooperation with businesses in training and ensuring post-graduation employment.

In addition, the College needs to strengthen scientific research and international cooperation in training; maintain connections with prestigious Colleges and Universities, support students to transfer to higher levels, and diversify types of training to meet the needs of local learners.; promote digital transformation to implement online vocational education activities; enhance the synchronous application of information technology in management; improve the efficiency of enrollment and training.

On this occasion, the College awarded teams and individuals with outstanding achievements in the 2021-2022 school year. Partner organizations also awarded scholarships to high-achieving students who have overcome difficulties to study well.
